Level 2 Certification - May 05 to 09, 2025
KPCT Khan Do Kwan Police Control Tactics Level 1 & 2 Instructor certification courses which are scheduled to be held from March 10 to March 14, 2025 (Level 1) and May 5 to May 9, 2025 (Level 2), at the Indiana Sheriff's Association (ISA), at Avon IN. These certifications fully cover all the categories as prescribed by the ILEA training mandates. The KPCT is a fully certified DT's program by the ILEA. Haven't caught up with your ILEA in-service DT's mandates for this year? Do not worry, we have you covered. The ISA & KPCT have 2 days scheduled for you and your department to get caught up with this year's mandates. We have 2 days, October 7 and December 2, 2024 scheduled just for this.

KPCT Khan Do Kwan Police Control Tactics Level 1 Instructor Certification Training - September 16 to September 20, 2024 at Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office, Indiana.
KPCT Level 1 & 2 certifications are certified by the Indiana Law Training Board and the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Academy. Officers holding both KPCT certifications are fully certified as per Indiana LETB Defensive Tactics mandate guidelines.
KPCT Level 1 instructor certification course will be held at the Indiana Sheriffs' Association located located at 221 W Main St, Warsaw, IN 46580. This is 'OPEN' to all Law Enforcement Agencies.
Get your Physical/ Defensive Tactics instructors certified. This is a 40 hour certification course which covers a variety of topics necessary for today's Law Enforcement Professional.
This certification covers the following topics:
Pressure points, positioning, Stand up and Ground control tactics, Striking (Hands & Legs), Takedowns, Joint locks, Handcuffing, LVNR, Multiple Officer Control, and Basic Baton Tactics.

Law Enforcement Baton Tactics, Edged Weapon tactics for Law Enforcement, Unarmed responses to Clubbed weapon attacks, Unarmed responses to edged weapon attacks, Weapon retention, Weapon disarms, self-defense for law enforcement.

This program is certified by the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board. It is also recognized in several countries world wide as a leading program in Police Control Tactics for controlling resistive behavior.

2. Using Pressure Points to achieve control.
3. Single & Multiple Officer Control tactics.
