On Thursday, September 18, 2025, the first-ever Khan Do Kwan Police Control Tactics (KPCT) Vehicle Extraction Course was successfully conducted at the Indiana Sheriff’s Association Training Center in Avon, Indiana.
This groundbreaking one-day training brought together law enforcement officers from multiple departments across the state of Indiana, all eager to expand their skills in high-risk vehicle extractions. Participants were introduced to cutting-edge tactics, legal considerations, and officer-safety protocols designed specifically for real-world policing.
By the end of the course, officers left not only with new techniques and practical experience, but also with a renewed sense of confidence, readiness, and empowerment to safely and effectively manage vehicle-based encounters in the line of duty.
This inaugural class marks an important milestone in the continued growth and recognition of KPCT as a state-approved and nationally respected law enforcement training program.
